Young Frankenstein

Two words; Abby Normal
These famous lines were just the few hilarious lines resited in the epic movie of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, "Young Frankenstein." Young Frankenstein is suppose to be a spin off of what Victor Frankenstein's grandson, Frederick Frankenstein creates in his grandfather's old labatory. In the spoof, Frederick finds out that he inheririted his family's estate. In the beginning of the movie, Frederick is irritated by the constant comparison's many of his students and people had between him and his "kook of a grandfather". Instead of the normal pronounication of his last name, Frankestein, he perferred to be called "Fronk'-en-steen". After his arrival to Transylvania, Frederick encounters with Igor, his grandfather's friends's, grandson, and his hilarious and slighty off assistant, Inga. After discovering his grandfather's hidden lab by following the clues of a peaceful violin, and cigars, he also found his grandfather's notes on how he created , 'The Monster.' Most people remember Young Frankenstein as the movie where the big eyed sidekick (Igor), mistakely dropped the intelligent brain that was going to be use in the recreation of Frederick's Monster on the floor, and instead gave Frederick an 'abby someone' brain. In the movie, Frederick has Igor sit besides him after his Monster nearly strangled him to death, and questioned Igor for the terrible mix-up.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [to Igor] Now that brain that you gave me. Was it Hans Delbruck's?
Igor: [pause, then] No.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Ah! Very good. Would you mind telling me whose brain I DID put in?
Igor: Then you won't be angry?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I will NOT be angry.
Igor: Abby Someone.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby Someone. Abby who?
Igor: Abby Normal.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [pause, then] Abby Normal?
Igor: I'm almost sure that was the name.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: [chuckles, then] Are you saying that I put an abnormal brain into a seven and a half foot long, fifty-four inch wide GORILLA?

Young Frankenstein is known for its dark humor, and excellent attempts to make a spoof of the horrible creation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein with Robert De'Nrio. I give this movie 4 stars
